Lacie's beloved Rugged Hard Drives just got smaller. Measuring only 3.4 x 5.3 x 1 inches and weighing only 12.1 ounces, these Rugged Mini USB 3.0 hard drives are truly "pocket" sized.
Like the other external hard drives in the Lacie Rugged family, these mini drives are shock, rain, and pressure resistant. Unlike their contemporaries, these Rugged Minis can be run over with a 1 ton car, and still perform. (Lacie really tested this).
USB 3.0
The Lacie Rugged Mini hard drives are equipped with one USB 3.0 interface (which is backwards compatible with USB 2.0), and the unique interface design allows you to use either the included USB cable, or a USB mini cable.
Password Protected
These Rugged Mini hard drives have password protection software, Private-Public, built in to protect from intrusion. Lacie's Private-Public software offers one-click data encryption and is very easy to use.
Bus-Powered
The Lacie Rugged Mini drives are bus powered via the USB 3.0 port.
